A Well deserved break ...

Well... over the weekend I have a lot of cards to make which I'll be sharing with you over the next week, so I decided to have a little rest tonight & start tomorrow on my cards. So I want to share with you a card which my mam asked me to do about a month ago & it was one of her famous "Angela I need a card for tomorrow!" So its a really easy card which I used some organza wired ribbon. I used some of my fabric confetti & wired paper. Its a really nice card & was ideal for my mam...

I've got to go & get some Black glitter card because one of the cards which I'll be showing you is for a birthday & I'm going to do it Pink & Black.... I know I can hear you say "Black... for a birthday card" but just wait till you see it, you'll be dying to have a try...

See you tomorrow

A Box Card ... For a Christening

Thank you to everyone who has looked at my blog over that month, I was so suprised to see how many hits that I had got & I would just like to say that it is very much appreciated...

On Tuesday in Kettlebells I was asked if I would make a christening card for a little boy. I just love doing christening cards & I decided to do one of my box cards in Blue, Instead of using a flower I used stars, But still kept the butterflies on the side as peolpe that know me will know I looooovvvve Butterflies! For some strange reason I could'nt get the box lid tight enough so 5 box lids later & here is it lol ....

Pretty Butterflies ...

I want to share this pretty Butterfly Card with you, It was a quick Christening card that i made for my friends Mam, I tried to keep it really simple & put a really nice verse in the middle, Stamped some flowers around the edge, & Used my can't do with out Paper pen... The lovely butterflies started off white & I used a nice stamp in pink & it matched in quite well with the colour of the card & the flowers around the verse, For the envelope I used some Velum & tied a ribbon around the middle & a tag to write on who the card was for & from. I let you decide if I've done a good job...

Try This Bow ...

OMG ... I'm going to be busy tonight, I have to make an envelope for my card below & then after Kettle Bells Ive been asked to make a "New Home" Card for tomorrow. I've got loads of ideas for the card so if you tune in on Friday you'll see what I've decided to do. So back to today's Card ... I was asked to make a Birthday Card for a Sister who love Pinks & is Girlie ... Right up my street & it gave me a chance to try something new with the bow, I found this raffia which I mixed & Matched with a spare piece of ribbon that I found in the bottom of my craft box. I used a stamp to put over my verse, But the best bit .... the swirly roses!!! I may be the only daft person around but I have just found out I have been twisting the roses from the center when I should have been starting from the end... Mind you I only found that out by chance when I thought what would happen if I did it that way & eureka it worked a treat, Any way here's the card & I hope You like it ...
My roses which I did right this time...

Please try this bow its really easy & effective.

Full view of card
Also at the bottom of the card is a little tag so you can write what ever you want on it & not spoil the card (That's is if your handwriting is as bad as mine lol ). Tomorrow card is a Christening card which I really love because its Butterflies & just looks so sweet. I'm off now to make an envelope... see you tomorrow

Simon Says Stamp Challenge...

I have been asked to do a card for a Mam's Birthday, So I thought that I'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone (sort to speak) & enter the card into Simon Says Stamp Challenge "Anything Goes". I decied to use my stamp "time Flies" By Sheena which I'm going out this weekend & getting some more because they are really nice to work with. I didn't want to go over the top with flower as the main flower is quite big. I Got the flowers from Dainty Supplies from the bridal section & I've added some of my open paper gel... I hope you like it.

That all from me now & I'm sorry for neglecting you but I only have 1108 books left to deliver then I'll be back blogging... Keep an eye out for tomorrow's post as I have to do a Wedding card tonight.
