A Birthday card for a cat lover ...

Well I think I should start by saying Sorry for neglecting you! I have been really busy with trying to set up my website www.angelicx.co.uk " Angelic's Boutique". You can purchase Invitations, Cards & much more .... but it is still under construction & there is loads of work still to do. Anyway back to business I was asked to do a Card for a cat lover. So I decided to get a really cute b;lack & white picture of a Kitten & made a lovely frame style card & added a Lovely Quote from Anna Griffin Collection.... so here is the card I hope it was worth the wait.

I used a really thin ribbon & wrapped it around the card a few times

Birthday card for a Nanna ... from the boys

Happy Wednesday & We are nearly over the hump ... & Today I want to share with you a cute Birthday card which I was asked to make for a Nanna from the boys. I used tape from Anna Griffin pack & the paper was from Tilda collection & I tried to put the swivel at the top with a lovely Me to you topper... take a look ...

This topper was bought complete & They are just sooooo cute

"Smile" sign from Anna Griffin went perfect with the Tilda paper ...

I ruffled the sticky paper on the bottom of the card to give a frilly effect

Well what do you think ..... it really was a fun cute card & because it was from the boys I thought the topper with the two bears would be perfect. Tonight I'm making a card for a friend who hasn't been herself so i think I'll share this with you .... so until then ...

New Style Birthday Card .....

Well last night I decided to try a new style card for Sam's mams birthday card... So I've made a photo frame card & Sam said her mam loves handbags ... no animals. So I got the sliver paper stack from Kim & Co which I got at a bargain from Hobbie Craft on Friday. I used one of my Anna Griffin flowers & Wow this card was really good ... take a look ...

The back is just a triangle halved

So I hope you try this new card as it really looks affective & Just gives a different twist to a normal birthday card. I had to find a A4 envelope which was the hardest to do. Tomorrow I'll be showing you a baby card which is another different style that I haven't done so keep an eye out for that... so until then ...

21st Birthday Card ...

I thought I'd use different colours for this card .... Brown & Pink, I Was also asked to make it swivel so I put on one side "21" & the other side a quote from Anna Griffins book of quotes. To be honest I was so pleased with the handmade flower that I used allot of different dies & it really did work, The paper was from Kim & Co collection & I Used my Lili of the valley 21 stamp....

New Baby Girl Card ...

 New Year & a New Baby Girl Card, I just loved making this card, It was for a Nana to give to her Daughter. I really wanted to make this card grand because ts a special time for a Mother when her daughter is having a baby & I really wanted he card to show that.... So I made a easel card & used my new heat die & used sparkly acetate over the top, Put a lovely bow on with a flower brad & look this is what I made ...

Happy Birthday Card ...

It was Janice's 50th Birthday today & Last night I made her a little card. I tried out my sewing  my new Anna Griffin Flowers. I used the green thread which matched the green leaves, cut a hole in the middle of the card using one of my square dies & Then made a frame & put some of the bargains that I got off QVC craft sale. The Anna Griffin flowers are just so pretty & really make the card ... I Then finished the card off with some wired ribbon ... So here it is

I also forgot to tell you that the red paper was also from QVC Bizzle paper & it came in really nice colours which I can use for anything. I tried to make a baby card last night as well but I don't like what I have done so I'll be making a new one tonight ... so I'll be showing you that tomorrow

Happy New Year !!!

I'm back to work today & back to normal blogging ... I've been busy making invitations & Birthday Cards. Today I've deiced to show you the invites that I made for a wedding. I Had a bit of a panic on because I couldn't find the right silver paper for the butterflies ... but as you can see I manged. I didn't really use that much glue on the invites because I found other ways to secure the butterflies so that they didn't fall off & the extra ribbon finished off the invites... So to keep you no longer here they are ...

I made a little flap so the acceptance cards went inside. I used my dotty embossing folder.

Boxed them all up & the 2 circles at the top are the initials of the Bride & Groom & The 2 Hearts were cut from dies
